Burns Energy Systems offers fully automated process control systems. We can interface our standalone systems with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems (SCADA), allowing you to gather and process information for better product quality control. All our systems are designed in accordance with applicable operating practices and operating safety codes. We will work with you, applying our own expertise in furnace systems design to insure the goals of your project are met or exceeded.

Where possible our programming standard is modular and open architecture. Under certain safety codes we are required to make segments of the code inaccessible. Screens are designed to facilitate local troubleshooting. The electronic system manual is loaded onto PC tablets with wireless communications and remote Internet access.


Generally Burns Energy Systems standardizes on Siemens PLC equipment for Asian and European clients and Automation Direct for North American clients. Other PLC equipment is available on request. HMI equipment would be the Siemens Simatic View or Automation Direct screens.
